What should I check when a price is displayed in an unfamiliar currency?

Do not assume a familiar symbol represents your usual currency. Do not assume a later conversion will produce the original local amount.

What should I check if an approved refund has not appeared yet?

Distinguish approval of a refund from confirmation it was issued. Do not assume the adjustment must appear as a separate entry.

How can I check whether a purchase involves ongoing commitments?

Check whether an optional addition creates a separate arrangement. Distinguish optional future purchases from requirements attached to the current offer.
